A Month of Love

So, I am always trying to find ways to show my kids I love them, but more importantly show each other the same thing. Being our family is small and are older parents, there will come a time they will need to rely on each other. On any given day they can be the best of friends or mortal enemies. On nights Lasson hasn't snuck into our bed, I know he can be found curled up next to his brother in the top bunk. I asked Harrison if he minded and was met with a noncommital shoulder shrug. When pressed further he told me its OK mom. Secretly I know he likes the company. He was an "only" for four and half years and now thrives in big brotherhood.

Well, back to my project of the day. I made the entire family little love envelopes. We are going to leave message for one another all through the month of February. We had a "Family Home Evening" on loving one another and hopefully it will keep the bickering to a minimum. We'll see, wink, wink!

P.S.
If I get a few comments, I might just write a tutorial and pattern.

  1. VEry cute Holly....I miss your creativity. I must get back up to the Springs for a fix. Are you still at Simple Pleasures? I do think that with "all your spare time", ha ha, you should write the tutorial and pattern. Did you do that with an embroidery machine??

  2. Thanks Sharla. I will try to get a pattern together for you. I hand embroidered the postmark and name. I still don't have a machine to do it yet. Someday . . .
