Showing off a little love . . . Romantic Valentine Cards

I'd like to claim that when I design cards that it's all my design sense that makes them come together. In this group of cards a actually have to say it was the pink floral paper. I was so GORGEOUS with just a hint of sparkle. And it paired so perfectly with red stripe and pink polka dot. Took me back to making valentines when I was a kid, with a stack of Dennison gummed foil hearts and Wilton doilies. Why did lick 'em stickers taste so awful?

Summer Speed Cards

I don't really know how time seems to flyby so quickly. Life gets busier, the boys require more attention and I fall further behind. It is inconceivable that I haven't posted since February, so I won't even acknowledge it.

So on that note, I'll share with you the cards we made in summer speed cards. Had a great time celebrating all the fun aspects warm weather brings. Enjoy!

Day of Love

Well, we were "Love Struck" yesterday at Simple Pleasures. Spent the day with a lovely group of ladies creating all kinds of Valentine crafts. Some old friends and made some new ones. We started the day with mini cards and tags and ended with a mini photo album. In between we crated cards, a sweet candy box, a delightful pail of flowers, shared some lunch and had too many laughs to count. I'll share the pictures here so you can get a glimpse of our day. (And maybe those that didn't finish can get them done.)

Little Love Notes

Who can resist a little pun? Children's valentines have always been a rich source for these corny little tidbits. The class I taught on Friday had them in abundance. These undeniably juvenile cards had me smiling all afternoon long, as I sat assembling kits. Take a look at these cuties made from Lettering Delights wonderful SVG's.
